The newly-built landmark facility on South Dowling Street is now home to the head office of Audi Australia Pty. Ltd. The workshop, which has been described as “the world’s most beautiful”, features workplaces equipped with BAC industrial workbenches and modular drawer storage chests and cupboards from BAC Systems.

BAC’s integrated automotive workplace system - the latest innovation in workplace design - was integrated into the state-of-the-art Audi layout to complement total service technician satisfaction with sophisticated tool storage systems and parts storage management. High density drawers and shelves provide storage management of tools, fluids, hose reels, waste bins, repair parts and more. Designed in concert with the dedicated BAC engineering team, the Audi ‘Lighthouse’ workstations were custom furnished with electrical power panels and stainless steel benchtops with inbuilt sinks.
