Renowned for its award-winning range of High Density Drawers and Industrial Shelving, the BAC Modular Storage Cabinet System also includes a comprehensive selection of auxiliary modular hanging storage solutions.

These auxiliary storage options are designed to mount seamlessly within the BAC Systems Storage Module Housing and can be combined with BAC Drawers and BAC Shelving to create a fully customised, hybrid BAC Storage Solution. This modular approach allows storage to be configured precisely to suit specific tools, components, and working environments.

BAC Spool Bars

The BAC Spool Bar consists of a robust steel tube running left-to-right within the cabinet. This simple yet versatile addition provides an efficient means of storing items such as wire spools, cable reels, or even uniforms on coat hangers.

Multiple levels of spool bars can be installed within a single cabinet, and multiple spool bars can also be fitted at each level, allowing storage capacity to be scaled to suit changing requirements.

BAC Adjustable Arms

BAC Adjustable Arms are mounted to the rear of the cabinet and project forwards into the storage space. With a simple twist, each arm can be loosened and repositioned along its mounting track, allowing complete control over both spacing and quantity.

This flexibility makes Adjustable Arms particularly well suited to storing larger tools such as shovels and rakes, as well as PPE, slings, and chains, while ensuring items remain easily accessible and securely supported.

BAC Panel

The BAC Panel is a heavy-duty perforated steel panel designed to mount inside a BAC Storage Cabinet. It can be installed vertically using the cabinet’s structural members, or mounted on a slight lean using BAC Toolrack Supports. This angled configuration provides additional tool stability, particularly in applications where the cabinet is mobile.

Each BAC Panel is supplied with a comprehensive selection of pins, posts, screws, clips, hooks, trays, and toolbars, enabling efficient organisation of tools and consumables.

BAC CNC Storage Solutions

The BAC Toolrack Supports can also be used to mount BAC CNC Consoles within a cabinet. These consoles are fitted with a row of CNC tool containers, with options available for BT35, BT40, BT45, BT50, as well as HSK63 and HSK100 tapers.

Positioned at a practical working angle, the BAC CNC Storage System allows CNC tools to be accessed quickly while remaining securely retained — an important consideration for mobile cabinets or high-value tooling.

Modular Combinations and Applications

As with all BAC Systems products, these hanging storage solutions are fully modular and can be combined to deliver highly efficient, task-specific storage configurations. Examples include:

• Auto-electrician’s trolley featuring BAC Spool Bars at the top for cable storage, with partitioned drawers below for terminals and connectors

• Workshop tool trolley with hand tools stored on a BAC Panel above, and deep drawers below for power tools

• Technician’s workstation incorporating BAC CNC Consoles behind clear, lockable doors, with drawers below for hand tools, cutting tips, and drills

• PPE storage cabinet with Adjustable Arms at the top for helmets, shelves in the centre for hi-vis clothing and boxed gloves, and drawers below for eye and hearing protection
