Spanning 18 000 m2, the facility comprises a stunning ‘Autohaus’-style showroom with workshop consisting of more than thirty service bays. Working with designers at BAC Systems, an innovative racking and shelving systems for the controlled storage of inventory and spare parts was devised for the state-of-the-art facility.

The integrated design allows for small parts storage in BAC high density drawers, while medium-sized parts are accommodated by BAC modules and shelves with separators, and large parts are stored in BAC rack systems with heavy duty beams and wire mesh flooring. The addition of BAC cantilever storage racking, with its open construction, provides a storage space for various “uglies”.

The recently overhauled BAC Rack and Shelving systems provides a sophisticated system for the efficient storage of pallets, cartons, and other large items. The modular design adapts from a functional single-bay pallet rack to a sophisticated multi-level storage system.

The system is complemented by BAC Combi shelving that offers a fully-integrated storage systems compatible with electronic inventory control.
